"I Love My Machine," created with Tapegerm (tapegerm.com), the premier Internet-based musician's collective, scaled the #1 mark in the competitive Electronic/Acid listings the first week of its release. The song features vocals by a web-based voice synthesizer, complete with harmonies.

"I Love To Play," which leaped to #1 its first week on the Alternative Avant Rock chart, was co-written and performed by 8-year-olds Allye and Karen.

Blind Mime Ensemble's Bryan Baker says, "My daughter was playing with a friend one Saturday and they eventually made their way into my studio during a weekend session. I just turned on the mics and plugged in a guitar and keyboard and thought it might be fun to record the girls making all this great noise."

After cutting and pasting various phrases around and adding the backing ensemble, Baker notes,"I thought we really had something that retained the spontaneous fun the girls were having, and was also just a really catchy song. And the hook was all them -- just perfect."
