The IVAA awards Jocelyn Mammen, of eSource Virtual Assistance, with its most esteemed certifications.

Minneapolis, Minnesota - January 20, 2003 eSource Virtual Assistance, a virtual business support service agency, has just received 3 certifications from the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA). Jocelyn Mammen, VA and Founder of eSource Virtual Assistance, is one of only 6 Virtual Assistants worldwide to have achieved the status of all 3 IVAA certifications; Certified Virtual Assistant (CVA), EthicsChecked Virtual Assistant (ECVA) and Certified Real Estate Support Specialist (CRESS).

In November of 2002, Jocelyn Mammen passed the IVAA EthicsCheck exam created by the International Virtual Assistants Association, the professional trade association for the virtual assistance profession. The following month, Ms. Mammen added another certification to eSource Virtual Assistance, in the form of IVAA CRESS (Certified Real Estate Support Specialist) certification.

The EthicsCheck and Real Estate Support Specialist ( RESS)exams assess the Virtual Assistant's competencies in key areas, including:

•   Real Estate Industry Terminology
•   Billing Issues
•   Conflicts of Interest
•   Privacy and Confidentiality
•   Ability to perform work within Ethical guidelines.

Real Estate professionals can rely on eSource VA to help them build their business and ensure better communication with their clients, explained Ms. Mammen, eSource VA Founder. She added, "We can do everything from preparing MLS (Multiple Listing Service) listings to monitoring and coordinating closings, from any location. Because we are Virtual, we are not limited to working within the confines of a local area so we are able to support professionals all around the country."

On January 15th, Ms. Mammen was awarded the IVAA Certified Virtual Assistant status (CVA). The IVAA CVA designation is awarded to IVAA members who pass an examination that measures their advanced competencies in ethics, Internet skills, writing skills, and general office skills. Ms. Mammen, one of a growing number of Virtual Assistants, is among a select group of Virtual Assistants to achieve IVAA CVA status.

The IVAA CVA certification immediately identifies career VAs with the professionalism demanded to perform expert assistance. "VAs are not given the IVAA Certified Virtual Assistant designation before demonstrating professionalism and expertise in the areas which form the foundation of a sound VA practice," explains Terri Romine, President of IVAA. "When a client hires a Virtual Assistant with IVAA CVA accreditation, they can be confident that the VA has a great set of core skills and the highest business ethics."
