AIP Systems, LLC makes inroads in the Cargo Organizer market.
Since introducing it's patented cargo organizer AIP Systems, LLC has proven it has an affordable and versitile product.
In August 2001, AIP Systems, LLC introduced a patented cargo organizer to control run-away cargo called the Cargo AIP System®.
Since this introduction the cargo organizing market has expanded to include cargo control products ranging from soft-sided fabric organizers to collapsible plastic ones. Netting and expandable metal bars are still being offered as well.
In a segment that is becoming crowded with consumer options the AIP System® stands out as a versatile and affordable alternative. Each system contains a quantity of Adjustable Interlocking Panels (AIP's) that can be connected end-to-end and across to form barriers, compartments, and supports in the load space of cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, vans, and more.
When assembled the system will not only prevent runaway cargo, but it serves as an excellent organizer or support system. Anyone who has ever tried to load plywood into a SUV or Mini-van will appreciate how the system supports cargo over wheel wells and seats that are folded down. It can even be configured as a portable seat for working on the vehicle, camping, fishing, gardening, etc..
No tools are required to assemble or adjust the panels, which are made of a durable plastic to withstand the temperature extremes inside vehicles and retain their shape and strength. The AIP's simply slide together or apart, allowing consumers to modify their configurations with ease.
The product comes in a reusable cardboard container with a handle and end locks so consumers can stow the panels inside the vehicle when they are not being used. An optional tote bag is also available.
The AIP System® received some favorable press in the December 2002 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. In an article entitled "Neat Car" by Jill Amadio the system was mentioned as an alternative to netting for car trunks. As a result, the company received a nice spike in web traffic and sales. However the system works equally well in SUVs and Pickup Trucks. In fact, 23% of system orders are to owners of pickup trucks.
AIP Systems, LLC continues to seek outlets to market and sell this product to consumers via the Internet and retail outlets. The product can be viewed at www.cargoape.com
