ROSIES BAKERY TAKES THE CHOCOLATE ORGASM NATIONAL
Rosie's Bakery, Boston's hottest, most award-winning bakery, has gone national. Rosies launched a catalogue and a website over the Christmas holidays to great success.
BOSTON, MA, January 21, 2003 - - Rosies Bakery, Bostons favorite award-winning bakery, introduced its new e-commerce website (http://www.rosiesbakery.com) and a mail-order catalogue over the holiday season and consumer response has made it the most successful grand opening in the companies 25 year history. The site and the catalogue were started in response to consumer demand to ship Rosies incredible, all natural, homemade desserts across the country.
Our customers are extremely loyal and they have been clamoring for us to do a catalogue and website so they could share our Chocolate Orgasms and other goodies with the people they love," says Judy Rosenberg, co-owner of Rosies Bakery, so we put together an extensive menu of delectable, fabulous, and mouth-watering treats and the response has been fantastic! So far, our most popular items have been The Elegant Orgasm Cake and the Dessert of the Month Club. Can you imagine how wonderful it is to receive a luscious dessert every month for 3, 6 or 12 months to put in the Rosies Bakery cookie jar we include with the membership."
"We make all of our cookies, cakes and brownies to order for our customers and we ship them the day they are baked with only a one or two day shipping time so that they arrive fresh and delicious", says Ms. Rosenberg, The website and catalogue also have quite a few gift tins that were designed especially for holidays and special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and Valentines Day."
In addition to shipping their products all over North America, including Canada and Alaska, Rosies Bakery will ship to Hawaii and APOs/FPOS all over the world. Rosies Bakery desserts are also sold at the Rosies Bakery locations in Massachusetts, and in specialty stores, gourmet food stores, fine restaurants and upscale hotels throughout the New England area and now in the new catalogue and on the website at http://www.rosiesbakery.com.
Rosies Bakery History:
On Valentines Day 1974, Judy Rosenberg turned a hobby into a new career. A passionate dessert lover from childhood, she baked some heart-shaped cookies, decorated them beautifully, and sold them to pastry and dessert shops in Massachusetts. Judy baked for one of those shops until she opened her first Rosies Bakery later that year. Since then, Judy has written two award-winning books and the company has grown to three locations: downtown Boston, Chestnut Hill and historic Inman Square in Cambridge. As well known for her bouncy, energetic attitude and her shiny Lycra wardrobe as she is for her pastries, Judy has appeared on national television shows including Later Today, CBS This Morning, and The Home Show, as well as numerous local television and radio shows. Her award-winning desserts have been featured in dozens of newspapers and magazines including the covers of Womans Day and Bon Appetit.
Judys first book, ROSIES BAKERY ALL-BUTTER, FRESH-CREAM, SUGAR PACKED, NO-HOLDS-BARRED BAKING BOOK won the Julia Child Award for best first book. Her second book, ROSIES BAKERY CHOCOLATE-PACKED, JAM-FILLED, BUTTER-RICH, NO-HOLDS-BARRED COOKIE BOOK, has won raves from bakers and gourmands all across the country.
