Perry Johnson Registrars certifies Gore Laboratories, Inc. to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Amherst, NH, January 24, 2003 -- Gore Laboratories, Inc., which performs calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment, has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification after passing an extensive audit by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. (PJR).
We sought ISO 9001:2000 certification to better serve our customers and in a continuing effort to achieve a higher standard of quality," said Management Representative Rose Gavin. ISO 9001:2000 led us to include 100% customer satisfaction in our quality policy. Customers need to know that they are buying from a supplier who is committed to continual improvement and a standard of quality that is recognized world-wide."
   The company has been in business since 1994, owned and operated by Richard Gore and Michael Decubellis since its inception. The laboratory is located in Amherst, New Hampshire and provides courtesy pickup and delivery of calibration and repair items, on-site calibration at the customers facility, and computerized asset and calibration management solutions.
Gore Laboratories, Inc. intends to pursue an even more stringent quality standard, ISO/IEC 17025:1999(E), written specifically for calibration and test labs. This standard focuses not only on the quality management system, but places more specific emphasis on competence, measurement accuracy and the repeatability of laboratory results.
The company always maintained a very high quality standard, but ISO quality certification required more detailed documentation and all employees required additional training to comply. The same family atmosphere at the company is still maintained with the new systems in place and the employees took a great deal of pride in accomplishing what was a very challenging task. Achieving certification to this standard makes the company uniquely qualified in their industry.
