GRAN, Ltd releases GRAN PM 2.1 - the first Java-based enterprise level defect tracking system.
January 25,2002 - GRAN, Ltd has released GRAN PM 2.1 - an enterprise level Java-based defect tracking software.
This new version of GRAN PM supports easy-to-use submit
bugnotes by email and subscription named filters.
GRAN PM Server Manager allows easy configure GRAN PM and
test configuration before startup. Also, GRAN PM features Open
API, configurable workflow, multilevel security system,
and can generate text, HTML and PDF reports with charts.
GRAN PM can organize relevant data into databases for
given project and/or sub-project(s), which allows you
to effectively inherit workflow(s), custom-fields and
security rules; this also lets you generate several reports
about different projects at the same time.
Unlike most other defect tracking systems, GRAN PM is truly
multi-platform and supports not only Windows, but Linux,
Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX as well. GRAN PM is a web-based
solution, but unlike other similar systems, it allows
web-interface to be used for administrating system as
well, which allows system administrator(s) to configure
it from anywhere in the world. You can use almost any
browser for working with this software - both well known,
such as Internet Explorer, and less popular ones, such
as Mozilla or even lynx.

Starter Kit costs $600, additional GRAN PM licenses
cost $20 per user with volume discounts.
