CELEBRITY POP ART" TO BENEFIT CHARITIES NATIONWIDE

Phoenix, AZ- - A local valley company has begun a new and unique charity project that looks to raise big money for non-profit organizations while promising to deliver one-of-a-kind collectibles, namely artwork created by celebrity personalities.

The project, labeled ToCanvasÔ, officially began January 1stof this year and currently has over fifty (50) Hollywood Celebrities, Musicians, Professional Athletes and Television personalities contributing to the growing project.

The focus of the project is to have celebrities create one-of-a-kind works of art. Current contributions include paintings, drawings and doodles. Each item donated has an extremely limited number of reproductions printed, currently just 25. The reproductions are signed by the participating celebrity artist and, along with the original artwork, sold via a live auction or on the projects web site, www.TOCANVAS.com. Proceeds from the sale of all the items are given to the charity of the participating celebrities choosing.

While celebrities doing artwork for charity may not be entirely new this project does prove to be unique. As the promoters recently stated, This will be an on-going project, not a one-time fundraising event; our hope is to establish a unique and permanent niche within the current collectable and art markets."

Who knows, as the stock markets performance continues to dwindle investors may look to invest in an original Pop Art" painting done by their favorite celebrity personality.
