Lobbying firm, Hyderi and King pull off rare Political "Trifecta"

Firm has the Illinois State Senate President, House Deputy Majority Leader and Black Caucus Chair in One day's worth of Event.

The law and lobbying firm of Hyderi and King- until recently Lord and King- showed why so many local and national firms hire it to influence legislation and manipulate the regulator process: the firm has mega-clout. Few firms could have pulled off the political trifecta that H and K did last Thursday.

In two firm sponsored events at the "old money" Chicago Athletic Club, the firm managed to have Emil Jones, the newly elected Illinois Senate President and Rep Art Turner, Deputy Majority leader of the Illinois House and the number two person in majority leadership behind House Speaker Michael Madigan. That afternoon, the firm then sponsored an event for Alderman Emma Mitts- a Mayor Daley appointee. In attendance at the afternoon event was Rep Calvin Giles, fresh from his election as chair of the legislative Black Caucus.

The firm specializes in government and regulatory matters and represents client throughout the United States.
