FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 28, 2003) -- Forget that familiar saying: He has a face for radio." When it comes to golden-voiced announcer and fitness model Ben Patrick Johnson, nothing can be further from the truth. In fact, when people meet him for the first time, they are usually shocked. Tall, blond and muscular, Ben looks more like a model for GQ. But at 33, Ben Patrick Johnson is one of Hollywoods most successful voice-over artists.

As the exclusive announcer for the popular syndicated show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, Bens voice is heard by millions of television audiences every day. He is also the voice behind the popular FOX Sports show YOU GOTTA SEE THIS and JUDGE JOE BROWN.

On television and in theaters, Bens voice can also be heard trumpeting major box office feature films including THE PIANIST, OLD SCHOOL, ANGER MANAGEMENT, DREAMCATCHER, NICHOLAS NICKLEBY, EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS, SPIRITED AWAY, WILD THORNBERRYS, I SPY, SHANGHAI NIGHTS, DARKNESS FALLS, THE RECRUIT, RIPLEYS GAME, ANTWONE FISHER, SIGNS, LILO & STITCH, SPIDER-MAN, SPY KIDS 2, MEN IN BLACK 2, K-19 and FOUR FEATHERS.

He often works directly out of his Hollywood Hills home studio equipped with a Telos Zephyr ISDN connection for sessions with real-time feeds.

Ben was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. After an early start as an on-air host for local Minneapolis/St. Paul radio, Ben was tapped to be the creative director for KABC Radio in Los Angeles. At 24, Ben landed a job as senior correspondent for the television show EXTRA. After a year, he chose to pursue his flourishing voice-over career full-time. Early voice-over work included announcing for the popular shows LEEZA and ROSEANNE among others.

Ben is the author of In and Out in Hollywood" which is a fictionalized account of his year working at EXTRA.
