Rockwell Automation and Flowserve Corporation Align to Provide Flowserve Customers with Integrated Condition-Based Monitoring Solutions

Rockwell Automation will provide Entek condition-based monitoring equipment, software and services as an integrated condition monitoring solution to customers of the Flow Solutions Division of Flowserve Corporation. This unique relationship brings the global Rockwell Automation integrated condition monitoring software, services and technology expertise together with Flowserves pump and sealing systems experience into one integrated customer solution. The combined expertise of these two companies will enhance and develop predictive reliability solutions to Flowserve customers by improving their uptime and reducing maintenance costs.

MILWAUKEE, January 23, 2003 - Complete Automation® leader Rockwell Automation will provide Entek condition-based monitoring equipment, software and services as an integrated condition monitoring solution to customers of the Flow Solutions Division of Flowserve Corporation. This unique relationship brings the global Rockwell Automation integrated condition monitoring software, services and technology expertise together with Flowserves pump and sealing systems experience into one integrated customer solution. The combined expertise of these two companies will enhance and develop predictive reliability solutions to Flowserve customers by improving their uptime and reducing maintenance costs.

Rockwell Automation will provide products and services to Flowserve as part of an integrated condition-based monitoring package focused on the entire pumping system. Flowserve will be better able to help its customers identify developing faults in equipment so that corrections can be made before they affect production, safety or reliability.
