Energy Management, Rather Than Time Management, is the Key to Success

California Woman uses Energy Management to Find Spiritual Gifts in Difficult Divorce.

Alpine, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2003 -- At one point during her divorce, Californian Belinda Ryan was facing the re-possession of her computer and car, foreclosure on her house, and an overdrawn checking account. Her total assets at the time were a quarter tank of gas, $1.33 and two small children. And she'd never been happier!

When asked how she was feeling, Ryan replied, "I have never felt happier in my life! I'm sleeping at night, waking refreshed in the morning for workouts. I'm eating healthy meals. My relationships and health are better than ever. I have energy to spare. I feel excited about my future and grateful for my circumstances."

Ryan went on to explain her secret, "I realized, I wanted it. I made a wish to build the internal character of my dreams. My dreams have come true and I'm laughing at the clothing they've come wrapped in." She attributes her sense of well-being during this seemingly stressful time to the energy management skills she learned in a program called Spiritual Cross-Training at www.spiritualcrosstraining.com.

Like Ryan, hundreds of US, Canadian and UK Spiritual life coaches and their clients, are moving their bodies, checking in with their emotions and quieting their thoughts before tackling their to-do lists each day. They've discovered that energy management--aligning the energies of body, emotions and thoughts--improves their mood, increases their creative juices and inspires them to productive actions that lead to more balanced living.

"Most of us try to balance our lives by doing more," explains Carolyn Wilson-Elliott, CEO of Quantum Spirit International, the coach training school that co-created the Spiritual Cross-Training program to bring energy management skills to the general public.

"When we're dissatisfied with our jobs, relationships, or our life in general," Wilson-Elliott goes on to explain, "it's an indication that we feel we have few options available to us. So, we look to changing our lives by doing, doing, doing. "But," says Wilson-Elliott, "if we learn to manage our energy, rather than our to-do list, we are actually tapping into our Inner Coach, or Spirit, to open up to creative solutions and empowering choices. In that mind set we actually are inspired to the actions that produce greater and often FASTER results.

"The men and women who are attracted to the Spiritual Cross-Training program come to us with an intellectual understanding of spiritual concepts," says Wilson-Elliott, CEO. "They come to the program because they are frustrated that their situations haven't changed by grasping these universal concepts. They are still working in jobs that are stressful, struggling with unfulfilling relationships and confused about their life's purpose. Or they may come because they want to create more success and are not sure how to go about it. They have tried all the traditional ways and they are looking for something that blends the inner and the outer in a way that is practical and works for them."

Fortunately for Ryan, other dreams have come true for her, too. "The Spiritual Cross-Training program has charged and accelerated the birth of my new vision for myself by offering concrete tools that support my new BEING choice. Focus, Releasing Resistance, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Clarity, Mindfulness, Trust and Joy; these are qualities that I am experiencing at a far deeper level with the help of the Spiritual Cross-Training program. And I am experiencing them continuously throughout the appearance of financial and divorce chaos I have created. Now that's contrast of the highest order!"

By learning energy management skills, Ryan has saved her house, is regaining financial solvency and deepening her relationship with her children. "I ask myself at every difficult bend, 'who do I want to BE' in this situation. My answer is usually that I want to be peaceful, courageous, and authentic."

"It takes much longer to change your behavior and situation if you approach it only from an intellectual level," Wilson-Elliott explains. "But, when you partner with your body and emotions, shifts and changes occur more quickly, often in just a few moments."

"Spiritual Cross-Training is about blending inner spiritual practices with outer technologies, like time-management and goal-setting, to create practical, tangible results that allow participants to create the life they know they were meant to live," says Wilson-Elliott of her newest program. "It's a proven process. All of our certified coaches and facilitators hold as their primary intention to live this process every day. " You can't get fit by watching people at the gym," Wilson-Elliott says, "you have to actually do the work and then you see the results. Energy management is the work of managing your thoughts, feelings words and actions in an integrated way that you customize for you."
