Feminine Faces of God
A Celebration of Feminine Wisdom and Divine Love
with Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway
New York, NY February 2003: Ancient societies honored feminine forms of God-as mother, earth, nature and the Holy Spirit-or as deities who personified feminine attributes. Today, many women and men seek a connection to the Goddess to heal, soothe, protect and remind us that within us dwells a love and wisdom that the events of the day cannot disturb. Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway will offer a fascinating look into The Divine Feminine in her upcoming workshop, "The Feminine Faces of God," Saturday, February 15, 2 to 5 PM, at the A.R.E. of New York Edgar Cayce Center,
150 West 28th Street, 10th Floor, #1001
East of 7th Avenue, in Manhattan.
Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway, an interfaith minister, is author of the popular new book, A GODDESS IS A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND, which is devoted to empowering women's self esteem. This workshop will show how understanding the divine feminine can help us restore balance in our personal lives, our relationships and our world. Restoring The Goddess wisdom to modern consciousness is essential in order for balance, compassion and open-heartedness to once again find its place in humanity.
From her research on the history of the Feminine Divine, including the Edgar Cayce readings, and introducing many of divine females featured in A GODDESS IS A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND,Rev. Laurie Sue will; working with participants to:
¥ Explore divine females, including those in the Hindu, Buddhist, Tibetan,
Native American and African cultures.
¥ Develop "Goddess Consciousness" that elevates self-esteem, empowers personal and professional growth and contributes to a better world.
¥ Access The Goddess for divine inspiration and guidance in every day life.
As a special Valentine treat, she will lead an interfaith Goddess ceremony that empowers participants to discover the Goddess Within. Another intention for this seminar is that people come away with a deeper understanding of the crucial role of the divine female in our world, as well as insights into how "She" can help us all have more love, success, happiness and peace!
