Public relations firms and executive search companies and consultants specialising in media appointments have a new place to post their situations vacant ads following the launch of prposts.com, a free jobs board for the UKs PR industry.

Public relations firms and executive search companies and consultants specialising in media appointments have a new place to post their situations vacant ads following the launch of prposts.com, a free jobs board for the UKs PR industry.

The site allows users to post to a number of categories to publicise a range of positions available around the country. Jobseekers looking for a new PR role can also post their details and contact information, and overseas companies looking for UK-based talent have their own category to post under.

Links to external sites can be included and an automatic email feedback system means users can reply to ads direct from the site, or click through to the website of the company that posted the ad.

The site went live on January 28th and has already attracted its first posts," said prposts.com owner/operator Tracey Hopkin. There is no intention to charge for this service. We are far more interested in bringing together a community of UK-based public relations professionals and more than happy to provide the server space and bandwidth to do this."
