NEC SOLUTIONS AMERICA SIGNS SOFTWARE LICENSE AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH POLICE CENTRAL

Rancho Cordova, Calif., January 29, 2003 - NEC Solutions (America), Inc., a leading provider of business solutions and services for the high-end commercial and professional markets in North America, has signed a software license and distribution agreement with Police Central, Inc., a leading provider of web-based software solutions for law enforcement.

Under the terms of this agreement, NEC Solutions America will market and distribute Police Centrals integrated web-based law enforcement software solutions under the NEC Solutions brand, with Powered by Police Central" attribution.

"Police Centrals proven web-based law enforcement solutions will complement our leading edge Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems and related technologies," said Tony Doonan, vice president of the Identification Solutions Division, NEC Solutions America. "Our customers are seeking a broader range of integrated law enforcement solutions, and this partnership with Police Central will enable us to fulfill that need by providing a broader range of products and services".
