"Pristine Nature" Stock Footage Collection Released by Native Light Productions

Fort Wayne, IN - February 5, 2003 - Locating that perfect nature shot for your next video production or commercial just got a lot easier and more affordable with the release of a unique royalty-free stock footage collection from Native Light Productions. Utilizing an easy-to-navigate web site, this specialized library of "pure" nature footage takes the complexity, uncertainty and expense out of using stock footage.

"No telephone poles, no roads, no fences, no surprises, best describes our new library" says Randall Thorne, videographer and owner of Native Light Productions. "All our footage is carefully shot to ensure no man-made artifacts are visible. In a documentary about the Old West, for example, you don't want a viewer asking you about the jet contrail he spotted in a scene." All the footage in the collection was filmed in a professional digital video format by Thorne, a critically acclaimed nature videographer.

The library also distinguishes itself in ease of use and affordability. While traditional stock houses often require the services of an archive researcher to locate desired footage (frequently at additional expense), the entire Native Light collection is available online. Conveniently organized into subject matter categories, each clip is represented by a thumbnail image and brief description. Clicking on the thumbnail brings up a larger image with detailed information on shot type, duration and location. Producers can quickly and easily navigate the hundreds of clips in the library to locate the exact shot needed.

Affording professional quality stock footage has always been a stumbling block for producers on a budget. The Native Light Collection has replaced the traditional "pay by the second" and "minimum length" requirements with a simple $75 per clip licensing fee. Each clip in the library, regardless of length, can be licensed for this same fee. To further reduce complexity, the licensing contract is a royalty-free agreement that entitles the producer to lifetime reuse of the footage at no additional cost.

Native Light Productions has been in business since 1996, specializing in all-digital North American nature video footage and programs. For information visit http://www.nativelightproductions.com or email info@nativelightproductions.com
