NEW YORK, Feb. 3 -- Death of the Party will play at the Orange Bear Bar at 47 Murray Street, (between West Broadway & Church) on Feb. 7, at 11:00 p.m. Admission is $5.
Death of the Party will perform excerpts from an original rock opera about the assassination of John F. Kennedy written by former Vampyr Theatre writer Tony Sokol. The opera proves that it was not a conspiracy, but a coincidence that a diverse group of ad hoc conspirators happened to assassinate President Kennedy on the same day, at the same time and in the same place.
The music varies in style from classic-rock to speed-zydeco, with prog-rock, metal rap, country, 60s girl group and dance music, bump and grind and atonal songs and interludes.
