New York Author chosen as Confident Woman Under Fire by American Woman of Confidence Organization

Amityville resident and author Chamein Canton, has been chosen as a Confident Woman Under Fire by The American Woman of Confidence Organization.

The organizations mission is to develop confidence and support plus size women who want to achieve their goal in spite of societys dictates for full figured women to stay in the shadows.

Ms Canton who has two novels to her credit, MS Doesnt Stand for Multiple Sclerosis and Youre Getting Married?, has taken her experience as a bridal consultant and plus size woman, and put it into a form friendly guide for plus size brides to be.

The book contains photos of real life brides, wedding gown tips and original designs by full figure friendly designers. However, despite 70% of women in the United States wearing a size 12, 14 and up, Ms. Canton has sn uphill battle that she is more than prepared to fight, which makes her a Confident Woman Under Fire.The organization has recognized her abilities and strengths Ms. Canton knows a thing or two about beating the odds. A cancer survivor, she beat the odds once. And shes still doing it despite suffering from multiple sclerosis. Therefore her grit and determination will inspire other plus size women to pursue their goals as zealously.
