What You Don't Know Can Harm You

Healthy skin can be yours: Learn Skin Fitness.

Tucson - February 3, 2003 - Many consumers are unaware of what is in the products that they put on the largest organ of the body... the skin. The skin breathes, taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. Taking good care of your skin should be a priority. All petrochemicals pollute our water and destroy marine life. Avoiding them is essential for your health and for the good of our environment. Did you know many products, including some exclusive" department store lines, utilize ingredients, which are damaging and even carcinogenic? Take time to check the ingredient labels on your skin care products. Petroleum and its derivatives are not beneficial ingredients for the general care of your skin. Many petrochemicals affect your hormones and nervous system.

It is up to you, the consumer, to determine whether a product is beneficial or harmful. Educate yourself today. Learn to read labels and what those labels mean. Start to educate yourself by attending the Skin Care Educational Seminar on February 6, 2003 at 10:15am to be held at the Jewish Community Center, 3800 E River Rd, Tucson AZ 85718. The seminar is free and open to the public. Contact Kristine Becker for more information at (520) 271-5016 or skinbodyfitness@cox.net.
