BALATON CHANGES BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Balaton Power announces change of Board of Directors. The change in the Board of Directors is a result of the acquisiton of the large Bauxite Deposit in India acquired during the last quarter.

Hutchinson, KS, February 6, 2003 -- Balaton Power Inc. (BPWRF--OTC BB) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new directors, Mr. Robert Wyllie, Mr. Richard Burdett and Mr. Michael Rosa to its Board of Directors, effective February 1, 2003. The previous board members have resigned from the Board to facilitate the new appointments. The new Board will appoint new officers and will announce them as soon as practical. Two consultants for the Company are worthy of being mentioned, R.K. Mittra of Orissa, India and Ernie Gallo of Toronto. The following are their brief resumes:

Richard Burdett, Director, he is a retired officer from the United States Air Force and is a financial consultant.

Michael Rosa, Director, is an experienced corporate director and has been involved in other entrepreneurial activities.

Robert Wyllie, Director, has many years experience with computer technology and has experience as a board member of other resource public companies.

R.K. Mittra, Consultant, is managing the Asian activities and is a retired Director of the State Bank of India, one of the worlds largest banking systems.

Ernie Gallo, Consultant, senior geologist with many years experience in the exploration and mining industry worldwide.

This group of directors was especially chosen for their expertise in operations: especially in the natural resource industry.
