KitchenAid and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation ask cooking enthusiasts to Cook for the Cure®...Personal Chefs Network members answer the call!
Following the lead of celebrity chefs Sara Moulton and Bobby Flay, more than 40 members of Personal Chefs Network from across the U.S. and Canada are joining in to host fundraisers to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. By joining together to raise funds, members are doing their part to help in the fight against this devastating disease.
Cook for the Cure® fundraisers will be held by participating members of Personal Chefs Network to raise funds for the Komen Foundation, best known for its Race for the Cure® events. The fundraisers are being held to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, to aid in the fight against breast cancer. The Cook for the Cure® program was begun by KitchenAid to raise funds for the Komen Foundation. Since July 2001 the program has raised $425 thousand. Visit http://www.cookforthecure.com for details.
The Susan G. Komen Foundation was established in 1982. Since that time, it has raised $450 million for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs.
