PTMG/worldwide acquires PRINTSPACE, a consumer and wholesale based print and promotional materials company.

SANTA MONICA, CA. February 7th, 2003 - PTMG/worldwide, the media conglomerate who holds the advertising agency PROJECT 13 MEDIA and out-of-home media provider PTMG/outdoor announced the acquisition of PRINTSPACE, a consumer and wholesale based print company.

The expertise of PRINTSPACE is specializing in low-cost solutions for promotional printing for a variety of industries, market specific in service. Created to serve areas such as promotional flyer printing, die-cut vinyl graphics, and promotional posters and banners, but single and one-off print capabilities are also stressed. With the exception of standardized items such as postcards, posters, flyers and catalog printing, every order that comes from PRINTSPACE is a fully customized job.

PRINTSPACE also provides solutions for adhesive-based printing. The scientific department work on the development of new ways to provide adhesive based marking and display products for the aerospace, government and corporate sectors. Accomplishments already in place include extreme heat proof and freeze proof labeling (read: sticker) systems, which benefit the cryogenic sector significantly.

The acquisition was made after the board of PTMG/worldwide decided a need to provide promotional print services would not only expand the portfolio of the company, but also increase revenue from a consumer and wholesale standpoint. "The need for printing on a consumer level is very high, especially in this economy. Companies are beginning to realize the economy is not as bad as it is portrayed, but it is still survival of the fittest," states Nick Stewart, President of PTMG/worldwide, "We want to provide marketing solutions on every level to benefit companies. By having access to a print company that not only offers traditional print, but also promotional items such as die-cut vinyl stickers, autowrapping, and banners and signage, we can now offer our clients a new range of services,"

However, the company holds the wholesale structure as the main target of the acquisition. "The point is to offer both quantity and quality. Corporations need a one-stop-shop they can work with to provide them with the proper materials," claims Jayson Barrett, Chief Financial Officer of PTMG/worldwide. "This acquisition will play an important role in the growth of PTMG/ in more than just one way. First, we will now be able to target the wide open area of promotions and outsourcing, second, we will be able to open the logistics of various forms of media delivery which is not only print based, but a promotional sector in whole,"

Price structure is the main marketing point of the deal. PRINTSPACE is prepared to offer all resources at heavily discounted prices in order to provide companies with the ability to promote their business effectively. "This is a buyers market, and we want to be the suppliers to all of those buyers. We will not be outbid on anything we have to offer." States Stewart. To compliment the push, online pricing and ordering systems will be setup, and template-based structures will be developed online to make custom ordering as easy as possible.
