Combination of the latest technology and production efforts provides venture for upcoming urban talent.

Terrelonge Recordings, a bright new up and coming record label made its debut onto the music scene in CT June 2001. It is the brainchild of CEO and founder Renee Terrelonge, current graduate of Wayne State University. Terrelonge is introducing a fresh sense of collaboration and perspectives to the entertainment industry. The concept is built on the idea of a record label supported by the latest technology providing extraordinary service to any serious novel artist.

Still in its developmental stages, Terrelonge Recording sets out to meet the needs of young talented artists through (talent) development, production and management. What sets the record label apart is it’s –“… dynamic and unique collaboration of technology and recording services,” said Terrelonge, “where the entities provides an overlapping service allowing clients to use 2000TE for all (their) needs”. There is definitely high quality competition in the steady stream of artists such as Nelly and Missy Elliot starting their own label ventures but Terrelonge Recording is positive about meeting adversity and industry seniority. Terrelonge Recordings’ VP of Marketing, Michelle Thurmond, seems adamant about the company’s capabilities in meeting such high expectations and demands. They seek to provide production and marketing services to potential individuals in such areas as R&B and Reggae also intending to branch out to other musical genres in the future.

Staffed by an exceptional team of entrepreneurs coming from various backgrounds such as Audio/Computer Engineering, Marketing, PR, Communications and more, Terrelonge Recording has set in place a foundation where everyone is striving towards a common goal—namely ‘success’ is always most appealing. Strong investment leads to solid and profitable returns for both parties. These multi-talented young graduates are determined in making Terrelonge Recording a successful record label through industry expertise and hard work. “Our goal is to thrive as an independent label offering our artists and consumers everything they need without seeking outside ventures”’ states Thurmond.

Terrelonge Recording diligently works towards putting together an entire package for their artist and employees offering a more hands-on experience and greater creative control. This label not only reaches across the Tri-State Area but also has affiliates in the sunny island of Jamaica where they have signed their first female artist, Omeil. Who currently appears on the compilation album, “Keep It Real” – In Store Now! For more information, visit their website at http://www.terrelongerecording.com.
