In collaboration with the African American Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame (AAESHF), the Golden State Warriors organization will host a special event to celebrate Black History Month on Friday, February 21st at Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks game, Oakland Arena. This designated Black History Month game celebration will be an interactive fun evening for the entire audience and special AAESHF guests.

Join the African-American Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame (AAESHOF) and Golden State Warriors on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2003 at the Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks 7:30pm game to celebrate black history month.

This designated Black History Month game celebration will be an interactive fun and an educational evening for the entire audience and special AAESHOF guests.

Special AAESHOF guest activities include:

  • During half-time, a Special Tribute to Don Barksdale, the first African American to play in an NBA All-star game.
  • Meet & Greet Members of the Golden State Warriors team.
  • An authentic autographed Warriors basketball will be presented as a Silent Auction item (bids are accepted at the email addresses below, minimum bid $75.00)
  • Special AAESHOF seating
  • Gift bags to include future Game Ticket Giveaways and much more

$50.00 tax-deductible tickets (to the extent of the law) are now available.
