SIEMENS REALITIS DXR GROWS TO MEET THE MARKET
Siemens Communications has extended the capability and capacity of its highly successful DX150R to nearly 500 extensions in a move which benefits customers large and small throughout the United Kingdom.
Siemens Communications has extended the capability and capacity of its highly successful DX150R to nearly 500 extensions in a move which benefits customers large and small throughout the United Kingdom.
By adding 3rd and 4th extender units, the DX150R -- now re-named DXR -- offers new levels of flexibility for customers. The DXR is ideal for the smallest of business users with a handful of extensions, to large independent organisations looking for stand-alone systems of up to 480, and branch offices within established Realitis DX networks. This can all be achieved without changing the DXRs 19 inch rack mounting facility, and the DXR incorporates Siemens new Revision 8 upgrade offering.
The DX 150R has been a phenomenal success story for Siemens and has achieved significant sales success despite fierce competition in the 100-200 extension sector, where the market has shown signs of picking up," said Siemens Communications Marketing Manager, Kris Hardiman.
The DXR not only handles all the requirements of the DXR150, but also offers a great product for standalone businesses and increased flexibility for branch offices with Realitis DX networks
It is a major commitment by Siemens to offer total scalability across the whole business spectrum, from small to large, and is another example of Realitis DX being the system of choice for the greater part of the UK business communications market".
The DXR enjoys the same benefits as the DX150R in that it sits comfortably into the 19 inch rack mounting -- making it able to share space and power supply easily in an IT equipment room and making installation much quicker and easier. It is a full member of the Realitis family with Patch Panel connections, 16-Channel Digital Telephone cards and up to 20 DLIs to save money, provide seamless working and better call handling.
