magic4 delivers next generation MMS enabled Sagem handsets
magic4, the mobile messaging solutions company, today announces a deal with Sagem, the leading French telecommunications equipment provider.
UK, February 10, 2003 -- magic4, the mobile messaging solutions company, today announces a deal with Sagem, the leading French telecommunications equipment provider. Under the terms of the agreement, magic4 will provide Sagems phones with its embedded EMS and MMS clients.
Sagem will deliver several mobile handsets to the market in 2003, most of them offering MMS capability provided by magic4 and featuring colour screens, HiFi and polyphonic ring tones, multimedia features and slide show editor and viewer. The handsets will operate on SMS, WAP and GPRS and will be able to work on 900MHz, 1800MHz or 1900MHz networks.
According to Simon Wilkinson, CEO of magic4: magic4 is building on its already successful strategic development partnership with Sagem by offering MMS capability to the latest Sagem handset releases. This partnership will deliver high quality, affordable MMS solutions to the mass market. The Interoperability Testing services offered by magic4, together with the experience and professionalism of both companies, allows for a first time right product offering and a rapid time to market interoperable solution. This latest agreement cements the relationship between Sagem and magic4 and is testament to the quality of magic4s software."

This is the latest contract between Sagem and magic4, both companies are building upon the success they had with the launch of the worlds first EMS version 5 compliant handsets last year.
