J & B Software Completes Reseller Agreement for TFP's EPICWare Database
J & B Software, Inc. signed an agreement to re-license and resell TFP's EPICWare database application software - application to become part of leading-edge ARC conversion solution.
Blue Bell, PA and Skokie, IL -- February 10, 2003 -- J & B Software, Inc. announced today an agreement with TFP (formerly Thomson Financial Publishing) to re-license and resell TFPs EPICWare database application software.
Under the terms of the agreement, J & B Software will offer the EPICWare database application as part of an Accounts Receivable Check (ARC) conversion and returns module for TMS Image, the companys flagship suite of check, payment and imaging software.
This enhancement will benefit TMS Image customers who want to convert paper-based checks into electronic transactions to be presented and returned through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. Check data captured and sent for clearing include the routing, account and serial numbers plus the dollar amount. The EPICWare database enables users to efficiently validate routing and account number structures on large volumes of checks and to make corrections or repairs, as necessary, for accurate conversion processing.
J & B Software introduced its TMS Image Check Conversion module in 2002 as an enhancement to TMS Image. The company reports that it has implemented the solution and gone live in a number of sites with more planned for 2003.
By adding industry-standard EPICWare database capabilities to TMS Image, we are able to ensure that data are accurately translated before being sent for clearing, which reduces administrative returns," said John Kincade, vice-president of sales at J & B Software.
We are excited to be working with J & B Software to expand the capabilities of their check conversion solution," added Shaun Hassett, TFPs manager, strategic alliances. J & B Softwares expertise in deploying ARC conversion in critical remittance processing environments makes this partnership particularly appealing to the marketplace."
