FOX INTRODUCES INDUSTRYS SMALLEST VCXO, MEASURING 5.0 mm X 3.2 mm

Fort Myers, FL, February 2003 -- The smallest VCXO available on the market has been introduced by Fox Electronics, Americas leading supplier of frequency control products. Measuring only 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.2 mm, the FVS25AXT is ideal for wireless, portable, and handheld applications where size is critical.

The FVS25AXT is a 3.3 V, low profile, surface mount VCXO with a pullability of ±100 ppm and a frequency range of 2 through 52 MHz. Frequency stability of the new oscillator is ±50 ppm, and standard operating temperature is -10°C to 70°C (-14°F to 158°F), with a storage temperature of -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F). Output symmetry is 40% to 60% at 50% Vdd over the frequency range.

Pricing for a new FVS25AXT VCXO with a frequency of 27 MHz starts at $2.25 per unit in quantities of 10,000. Delivery is 8 weeks ARO.
