BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND--CONTACT HIGH TO PLAY THE CONTINENTAL IN NYC
Contact High will be playing a matinee show open to all ages on March 1, 2003.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) February 12, 2003 -New York based band Contact High will bring their contemporary arrangements and vocals, along with new material back to The Continental for a matinee show that it open to all ages on Saturday, March 1 at 3:00 PM.
New York based band Contact High is a product of the uniquely compatible musical talents of: TC on lead vocals, Dan Germann on guitar, Steve Spaleta on bass, Stacy ODell on drums, and songwriter Anthony Recchia. Contact Highs sound is rooted in the '60s and '70s, yet the arrangements and vocals exhibit a contemporary influence, creating a 'retro-modern feel. Many have compared the band to Pearl Jam, Creed, 7 Mary 3, and Live.
Contact High was born in July 2001 and has been steadily enjoying a rise in popularity in the NYC music scene. Since the projects inception, 10 songs have been recorded, which have been well received by their growing fan base. Currently Contact High is in the studio to finishing their first full-length album, scheduled for release in late March.
Contact High has been regularly performing in popular NYC venues such as the Continental, Studio 54, the Elbow Room, DowntimeNYC, Kennys Castaways, the Village Underground, Shine, and the Lions Den. Contact High was the featured Out of Town Band" on www.coloradomusic.us this past month and was the featured band at www.hometownmusic.us for December 2002. Contact High has received recent airplay on NYC classic rock station Q104.3, as well as on www.hometownradio.us and on www.electriceyeradio.com. They have also had their music featured in both the opening and closing credits of the Independent film Coffee Refills are Free.
