Global Business Network Addresses Internet Vulnerabilities

Little Rock, AR --- February 11, 2003 -- World Business Web, Inc. is deploying a parallel network which, while utilizing existing applications and protocols, takes advantage of the abundance of telecommunications infrastructure to provide a complete suite of services for the conduct of e-commerce and digital communications that is exclusively for use by business and government, worldwide. The network provides no cross-connectivity to the public Internet.

The recent worm attack on the Internet provides further evidence of the ongoing cyber-threat" to business and government from the continued utilization of an unregulated and anonymous public Internet infrastructure.

The SQL Slammer" is a newly developed worm" that took advantage of a known vulnerability. The preponderance of critical updates, viruses and security issues has left business, government, software developers and of course IT departments, who are continually allocating resources, in an ongoing battle against malicious activities.

It is estimated that less than 5% of global fiber-optic telecommunications capacity laid by the numerous Telecom and cable companies is in use.

With this expanse of network facilities, companies will no longer be reliant on a network that is neither economically viable nor secure.

When collating the many problems of the Internet, which cost business and government, as well as the overall economy, hundreds of billions of dollars a year, the appeal of the Internet as a business tool has been dramatically eroded and derided.

From initial access to the final destination all client data and communications will be transported over the World Business Web network, utilizing a high-speed IP backbone in the United States, Europe and Asia to provide enhanced security features and a controlled environment that fosters new technologies and innovation.

World Business Web removes the problem of cyber-squatting by allowing only the appropriate authorized entity to register a domain name. Domain names on World Business Web are not subject to the control or regulation of ICANN.

All businesses regardless of size or location that require Business-to-Business (B2B) connectivity are welcome to utilize the network.

The network will not support Business to Consumer (B2C) clients. The network does not support either anonymous email services or personal content.

Access is available by a wide range of methods including: traditional dial-up, ISDN, DSL, ATM, Frame Relay and optical fiber. Full hosting services are available using high-capacity ultra-reliable storage systems. The cost of services is comparable to those charged by providers for the Internet equivalent.

The company aggregates all solutions and services necessary for the conduct of e-commerce and digital communications globally.

World Business Web provides base level services comprising: access, domains and hosting services, which additionally reduce the administrative burden. In addition, ancillary facilities including Voice over IP (VoIP), business directories, search engine facilities and optional industry portals will be available.

World Business Web, Inc. is confident that the deployment of World Business Web will provide economic benefits to Technology and Telecommunications providers, software developers, hardware vendors and companies that provide business services or network facilities. Businesses who believe they provide suitable products / services for implementation or who wish to enquire about participation may contact World Business Web Inc. to discuss this further.

Enquiries seeking information on availability or coverage are also welcome.
