Russian Pharmsynthez to continue contract chemical development of a new molecule. St.Petersburg, Russia

Pharmsynthez JSC and its own chemical pilot facility Capitolovo Chemicals offer high quality chemical and analytical development of investigational medicinal products.

A 1st stage of chemical development of an investigational new molecule was successfully performed by Pharmsynthez JSC as it was proved yesterday by a milestone joint meeting. During execution the project schedule was followed in a day-to-day manner. In December 2002, Pharmsynthez JSC, located in St.Petersburg, Russia, had won a contract with a European company. According to the contract the name of the customer is not disclosed. Second stage presumes the process scale-up and scaled production of several kilograms of the APhI for Phase I clinical trials in Europe. The contract was granted following the customers audit.
