Joe Markee Joins IBiS Telecom, Inc. Advisory Board
SAN DIEGO, CA Joe Markee, co-founder, former CEO, and current board member of Copper Mountain Networks has joined IBiS Telecom, Inc.s Advisory Board effective immediately. We are pleased to be able to add Joes expertise in the broadband internet access marketplace to our advisory board", said IBiS CEO Stefan Scheinert. Joe didnt invent broadband internet access, but he certainly understands the technologies and the marketplace."
IBiS Telecom has an intriguing idea -- using broadband internet connections to spread the reach of wireless networks", said Markee. Markee is also a board member of Metalink. Prior to Copper Mountain, Joe was a co-founder of Primary Access, a leading remote access server company later acquired by 3Com. At 3Com/Primary Access, Markee was a member of the senior management team, serving as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Support.
