International Company Opens Create-A-Book Branch Locally

Youngblood Multigraphics is the newest member of the Brooklyn business community. As a Create-A-Book dealer, JoAnn Youngblood King will produce personalized children's books "while you watch" if you so desire.

Create-A-Book is the largest and oldest instant children's personalized book publisher. They carry such titles as My Birthday Surprise, My School Fun Book, My Christmas Wish, The Big Parade, My Dinosaur Adventure and My Book of Prayers. They also offer books featuring McGruff, the crime-prevention dog.

Each book includes the child's name, hometown and names of friends or relatives. These hard-covered books are laser printed and fully illustrated. Each book comes with a photo sticker which is used to permanently place the "star" of the book's picture in the front cover.

The most popular book, according to Ms. King, is the Special Delivery book. This Create-A-Book records the story of your child's birth. It includes the child's name, parent's name, birth date, first three visitors and birth information such as doctor's name, hospital's name, length, weight and time of birth. "This is an excellent gift for a new mother. It is the ultimate keepsake." Ms. King said.
