SASQUATCH CAPTURED! SPIELBERG PROTÉGÉ UNLEASHES BIGFOOT COMEDY
Two years in the making, David Venghaus Jr. screens his first feature.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 13, 2003 -Writer/Director David H. Venghaus Jr., who has worked as an assistant director on Steven Spielberg's "Catch Me If You Can", "Minority Report" and A.I." and is currently assistant directing Garry Marshall's "Raising Helen", has just completed post production on his first feature, "They Call Him Sasquatch". The film will be screened at 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, March 11 at the LA Film School theater, 6363 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA.
The film stars Neal McDonough ("Boomtown", "Minority Report" and Richard Donner's upcoming "Timeline"), Garry Marshall, Tom Bresnahan, Vené Arcoraci, Jordan Black, Chuck McCann and Warren Berlinger.
The screwball comedy follows an eccentric and colorful group of Bigfoot fanatics as they descend on the location of a recent sighting. The motley crew initially bands together in search of the elusive beast but after a cash reward is put up for the monster's capture it becomes every man, woman and child for themselves.
