Naturejobs produce film short to promote site.
The careers resource of the leading science journal Nature, has created a film short aiming to raise awareness of the benefits of using the website.
The gruelling hours, the repetition, the anonymity, the uncertain nature of discovery. If you work as a scientist at the bench, easy it ain't. Well at Naturejobs they've tried to show the scientific community it needn't be like that with a short film 'Get out online'.
To empathise with the plight of researcher, Naturejobs have commissioned a 40 second online film short. Mock CCTV footage of labs shows researchers feeling the strain. It's hoped that they'll realise the scientific careers site Naturejobs can provide the solution to their frustration.
David Bowen Marketing Manager for Naturejobs commented "It's fun, but there are serious undertones to the film. We're hoping that researchers take a step back from their own work and move onwards and upwards if they aren't 100% happy."
