M. Michel Roy is appointed Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Quebec, Canada February 11, 2003 -- Telops, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of optronic test systems, is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Michel Roy to the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

Mr. Roy holds a diplôma in Marketing from the École des hautes études commerciales de Montréal. Mr. Roy has a solid experience in business development in the field of telecommunications and optical systems. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing management; he has acted as Director, National Accounts at Motorola Cellular and as Business Development Director at AT&T Canada. Since 2001, Mr. Roy was acting as Account Manager, International Sales at Telops.

Telops specializes in the design and production of sophisticated opto-electronic systems for the telecommunications, defense and erospace industries. Mr. Roy will be responsible of coordinating the sales and marketing activities for the R&D services and the test equipments division (test, burn-in, and characterization stations). He will also coordinate the activities of our USA office and of the product management team. Mr. Roy will bring to Telops his leadership and his engagement to assure the success of the company worldwide.
