Mark Your Calendars For Marietta Day!

Marietta Day is planned for May 17, 2003. It is a day of garage sales, crafts, vendors and family entertainment.

Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania-Search those garages and attics for hidden treasures to sell! Marietta Day is almost here! The Marietta Area Business Association will organize and run Marietta Day which is planned for Saturday, 17 May 2003 from 9am-3pm rain or shine. Featured this year will be craft stands of all varieties, original artwork, customized jewelry, baskets, and other one of a kind crafts. There will also be many fabulous food stands and family entertainment. Local businesses will be open promoting their products and selling their wares in addition to the vendors.

Display areas are located on Market Street, in the downtown business area. All streets located in this area will be closed to all but foot traffic. We are encouraging town-wide garage, attic, and cellar sells. Garage sales start at 7am with no ending time.

Marietta Day is one of the biggest days of the year for our charming river town. We attract many people from out of the area, as well as those from Lancaster and York counties. It is a well-established event of more than 25 years and attracts thousands of visitors annually. Marietta is located along the Susquehanna River off Route 441 and is minutes from Harrisburg, Lancaster, and York. We encourage all to stop by and share in our town festival.
