Joydesk Business Edition 2.6 is ideal for small- to medium-sized businesses (up to 5000 employees), corporate field offices, schools and non-profit organizations to instantly create a secure Intranet environment. Synchronization capabilities for contact information are also available between Outlook, mobile phones and personal digital assistants with VirtualTek's Joy2Go! Sync extension.

Joydesk Business includes a high performance open source database that runs 40 percent faster than previous versions, as well as offers a range of back-up management tools. Joydesk Business 2.6 can be installed and running in less than 20 minutes, and the relatively hassle-free maintenance eliminates the need for dedicated IT resources. The application runs on a web server, so no client software installation is required.

Joydesk Business 2.6 runs on Linux kernel 2.2 or higher and Red Hat Linux 6.0 or higher, and Cobalt Qube 3, RaQ2/RaQ3/RaQ4; 64MB minimum RAM required (128MB recommended), with 110MB minimum available hard disk space (2GB recommended). Client requirements include Microsoft Windows 9.x, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
