Free, real-time, technology help, the dotMOD.
The dotMOD, is an IRC (internet relay chat) network focused at providing an enviroment for technology oriented users to go and meet and get aid. From software engineers, web developers, to electrical engineers and robotics gurus.
A new IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Network has started up. Its called dotMOD. It is dedicated to software development and other areas of technology. Its a meeting ground for software developers, engineers, network admins, web developers, electrical engineers, etc.
While the network is just starting out, already it has become a great place for the exchange of knowledge in real-time. dotMOD encourages general chatters to check it out also. As they are a public IRC network.
We spoke with the CEO of the network, Wayne Witzel, and he was quoted saying, "We are currently a small network, but provide some of the best free, real-time, technology help available." A user of the dotMOD said, "It is like having your own helpdesk available to you 24/7. It is a great resource."
dotMOD network also runs the website, http://www.dotmod.net, a object-oriented programming website which posts tips and how-to artiles. For more information on the dotMOD network and how to access it, please see http://irc.dotmod.net. For more information on IRC (Internet Relay Chat), please see http://www.irchelp.org
