Rockledge, FL -- February 13, 2003 - Applied Global Technologies, a worldwide provider of reliable and worry-free video communications, has just completed the installation of mission critical video technology in Kuwait. The focus was on the installation and integration of video conferencing equipment at the Camp Arifjan Command Center -- a location classified by the Army as an Imminent Danger Zone."

I'm most proud of the service we are providing the Army," stated Troy Ferguson, AGT Regional Technical Expert. It was a real honor for us to be in the field with our American soldiers. It is one thing to hear of the conditions that our soldiers endure during their tour in Kuwait, but to live with them and experience first hand their day-to-day life is an experience that I will never forget."

During the two-week period, AGT was responsible for installing the Command Center Conference Room system, integrating the video conferencing system into the Command Center, installing the Command bridging equipment (Polycom MGC-100), and providing the customer with an integration solution for a second facility within the operation. The activated systems were cleared for classified traffic.

Due to logistics, we worked around the clock during a three-day stretch to complete the job," added Chuck Gurno, AGT Regional Technical Expert. We have been able to provide the THIRD Army with a reliable solution."

The video communication systems will be used in the planning and execution in the possible war with Iraq. The systems are also being used for service members to have one-on-one communication with their families back in the states.

Both Gurno and Ferguson were awarded a unit coin from the Commanding General for Outstanding Service.
