Continental Seating and The Leather Consultant Merge

The principle members of Continental Seating and The Leather Consultant are pleased to announce a merger. The two organizations are leveraging the best practices of both operations, and bringing to the industry a superior leather seating product delivered and supported with sublime customer service.

Over the last two months the principle members of The Leather Consultant and Continental Seating have been sharing best practices. Their mission; leverage the best of both organizations to offer the industry superior leather seating supported with sublime customer service.

In this merger of best practice, The Leather Consultant (TLC) will take over Marketing, Sales, Order Fulfillment and Customer Service operations immediately. TLC will continue to market the home theater / cinema line under the Continental Seating name. Keith M. Jensen, President of The Leather Consultant, and George Borck, Continental Seating Principle, will team up to lead transition activities.

We feel that Continental Seating is the finest manufacturer of home theatre and cinema seating in the United States. Our organizations share the same commitment to providing a superior product, providing sublime customer service, and constantly innovating new products and delivery processes. We welcome all Continental Seating customers, and are eager to earn their respect," said Jensen.

During their organizational assessment, The Leather Consultant found that current Continental Seating customers rate the theatre seating as superior in quality, and that they would benefit from The Leather Consultants precision order fulfillment practice and communication standards.

The Leather Consultant has already implemented a central phone/FAX system which feeds directly to their order fulfillment team that is co-located with manufacturing. Having this system, and team, inside the same facility as manufacturing will streamline order placement, turnover to manufacturing, and provide customers with production updates directly from the manufacturing facility.

Right out of the gate, The Leather Consultant is delivering on their commitment to implement precision order fulfillment and sublime customer service processes. Our customers will be pleased," stated Borck.
