Salt Lake City, UT -- The Gloria International Film Festival is pleased to announce the beginning of a new community event to take place at the Salt Lake City Main Library auditorium. It is called G.I.F.T. (Gloria International Film Tour) and is a collection of submitted films from previous Gloria International Film Festivals.
"The film festival has had such an incredible response it was only natural to present the other films so the public can enjoy them also," said Wayne L. Lee, Executive Director of the Gloria International Film Festival. "These other films are just as wonderful as the ones showcased during the annual festival, it's only that we had a limited amount of slots to fill and far too many films. We had 25 slots and had received almost 60 films. This is a way to still help independent filmmakers and provide a source of quality entertainment for the community."
The G.I.F.T. will essentially be a "mini" film festival in that the audience will get to view a quality film and meet the filmmaker afterward.
The G.I.F.T. schedule can be viewed at http://www.gloriafilmfest.org.
