New Lives, New Looks after Divorce

Clients of Newport Beach-based online-divorce service to get makeovers courtesy of gInside Edition.h The makeovers helped the clients start new lives, along with the alternative way of divorce, which they praise as quick, easy, affordable and less-contentious.

Newport Beach (PRWEB) February 19, 2003 - Having already taken some of the financial sting out of divorce with the help of Newport Beach-based Divorce Wizards, several O.C. clients of the mediation service are in for a bonus--post-divorce makeovers from NBC's Inside Edition.

The show airs on Monday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. on KCAL/9.

These makeover clients went to Neiman Marcus to select designer dresses and suits and received makeovers from Alan Edwards in Santa Monica.

-Robbie Kribell, who lives in Buena Park and works for the city of Irvine, had 13 inches slashed from her hair and went from a frosty blond to a reddish brunette. She says, "I'm a totally different woman now."

Kribell was married to her second husband for just over a year. Since he refused to sign divorce papers, she had to go to court. She represented herself, with the help of Divorce Wizards, and her divorce was finalized last June. "I'm proud of myself handling it on my own. Divorce Wizards made it possible. The makeover gave me a great opportunity to start a new life."

-Jeanette Levert, national operations director for a Fortune 500 consulting firm who lives with her 10-year-old son, Matthew, in Lake Forest, was divorced from her husband of 20 years last June. "The best part of the makeover was meeting three other people who were in the same situation and their true demeanor was one of fun, emotionally healthy, and moving on with their lives,'' Levert said. "It was good to know that they were going on with their lives, looking forward to the future."

She used Divorce Wizards' document-preparation service. "It took an emotionally gut-wrenching situation and helped me get through it with minimal frustration. I did not want to add more pain and anguish to a situation that was already devastating. I completed the paperwork as instructed and never saw the courthouse or judges. I just did not want to have one of my last memories of my marriage be reporting to the courts."

Levert is training to become a trained leader in a divorce support program called DivorceCare. "I'd like to bring the program to people in Orange County."

-The makeover wasn't only for women. Bryan Linden of Newport Beach, clad in a designer suit after his makeover, exulted, "I feel like a celebrity!" His divorce, facilitated by Divorce Wizards, will be final any day now. "I don't have a whole lot of time and Divorce Wizards' service was quick and easy. It was also very affordable compared to alternative methods of divorce."

Clients' pre- and post-makeover pictures are available. The clients are also available for interviews.
