Jokaroo Announces the Implementation of a Subscription Based Model

Jokaroo Entertainment Inc, a Toronto based entertainment company, has completely implemented a subscription based model in order to provide multiple streams of revenue for its flagship site, Currently the primary source of revenue stems from e-mail marketing and standard advertising. The new and unique source of revenue, subscriptions, is forecasted to bring in promising results by Q3 2003.

In attempt to attract the current market and obtain a decent base of subscribers, Jokaroo is offering a one-month free trial subscription. The access fee for this subscription is $9.99 per month, with Jokaroo offering numerous different services ranging from a 40 MB email account to archives of funny movies and prank calls. Additional services are in the process of being added in the near future. “Although we offer a premium service, for a minimal fee, we will continue to provide an abundance of free content,” said Chris Pavlovski, Jokaroo’s Co-president and founder.

Corporate revenue has more than doubled in the last several months. This new growth is attributed to innovative ideas which are setting new precedents in the online entertainment industry.
