FBI to Address Wisconsin eBusiness Forum Meeting on March 12

The Wisconsin eBusiness Forum (WeBF) will meet on March 12 from 2:30.m. to 5:30 p.m. The meeting will center on the topics of security and privacy in eBusiness, and features speakers Monica Shipley from the FBI and Matthew Stippich from the law firm of von Briesen & Roper, s.c.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- February 20, 2003 --The Wisconsin eBusiness Forum (WeBF) will hold its next meeting at the offices of MANPOWER in Milwaukee on March 12 from 2:30.m. to 5:30 p.m. The March meeting will center on the topics of security and privacy in eBusiness.

Keynote speaker Monica Shipley, a United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent, will discuss the FBI's investigative responsibilities in Cyber Crime as well as the InfraGard. InfraGard is a partnership among the U.S. Government, an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to increasing the security of critical infrastructures within the of United States. Ms. Shipley is currently assigned to work National Security matters, and is also the coordinator of many of the FBI's public outreach programs, such as InfraGard, ANSIR, and Citizen's Academy and is the media spokesperson for the Milwaukee Division.

Matthew Stippich, head of the Technology Law Section and a member of the Business Practice Group for the law firm von Briesen & Roper, s.c., will also speak on the latest hot topics related to e-business privacy and security and the practical impact on your business. Mr. Stippich specializes in the protection of intellectual property, employee equity participation, software delivery methods, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, choice of business equity, general corporate law and transactional matters, as well as related tax issues. He has also co-authored the supplement to the Multimedia Legal Handbook: A Guide From the Software Publishers Association
(1999-2001).

Registration for WeBFs March 12 meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the MANPOWER offices located at 5055 North Lydell in Milwaukee (telephone: 414-906-7394). A $10 per person meeting fee will be charged for members ($20 per person for non-members). Attendees are encouraged to pre-register via the www.webf.org website, where details about WeBFs meetings, membership, sponsorship, and the WeBFs Board of Directors can be found.
