GeoMetrix Announces Training Partner 2003

Victoria, BC, Canada -- February 18, 2003: GeoMetrix Data Systems Inc. announced the release today of Training Partner 2003, a completely new version of their enterprise learning management system.

Training Partner 2003 combines all the features and functions of the robust Training Partner 2000 learning management system with learning content management (LCMS), customer relationship management (CRM) and a portal-based remote site bridge.

Built-in Learning Content Management has been added to the Training Partner LMS product to offer customers the ability to store, reuse and manage digital learning objects. "With Training Partners continued support for eLearning standards such as AICC and SCORM, we have followed the content management system evolution," says Justin Hearn, president of GeoMetrix Data Systems Inc., "After careful analysis and consultation with our clients we added what we feel is a mature content management capability that recognizes the complex real-world demands of such a system."

A new Training Partner 2003 CRM feature will help clients manage customer relationships in an organized way through the LMS structure. "CRM is an important component of any customer-focused business strategy," said Hearn. "Training Partner 2003's CRM functions can assist organizations in improving communication with customers, optimizing data and streamlining existing processes. The Training Partner CRM can help clients know their customers, understand their needs and build strong relationships," continues Hearn.

Demonstrating continued leadership in the learning technology marketplace, GeoMetrix has added a portal-based remote site bridge to Training Partner. "This unique technology is an industry first," says Hearn. Training Partner's remote site bridge lets different Training Partner implementations interact with one another in real time." This technology allows users of one Training Partner database to access data directly from a remote Training Partner database. For example, a for-profit training center that is using Training Partner could allow a client organization, which is also using Training Partner, to register learners into its programs or courses," Hearn explains. Relevant information is captured and managed in both systems, eliminating time-consuming updates."

In addition to these new components, Training Partner 2003 also features XP interface enhancements, extended financial management capabilities and expanded collaborative functions.
