Superthrive Generates Enthusiasm From Labels, Management and Booking Agencies"

Superthrive gains attention from indie and major labels, management company and booking agencies. Also announcing new dates.

February 19, 2003 -Jersey City, NJ. The Superthrive buzz has made it to some labels, and the band is already receiving offers for the music they are currently recording at Threshold Studios in NYC.

Major label, Universal Records, contacted Superthrive for the forthcoming material and show dates the band has booked for Spring 2003. Insanity Records (Germany) offered the band a European distribution deal for the upcoming release. Militia Promotions offered Superthrive a slot on their next compilation CD featuring buzz-bands from around the world. The sampler CD will be available in record stores in California and through street teams in June 2003.

Superthrive joins forces with Bernadette Giacomazz of Akasha Multi Media Group and the organization Women In Rock. Bernadette agreed to start working with Superthrive and has already begun submitting their music for showcases and larger venue opening slots. Akasha Multimedia is also working with the band on targeting radio all over the tri-state area including major rock radio stations like Q-104.3FM and 92.3 K-ROCK FM, as well as college stations and radio stations throughout Long Island.

Booking agency BAM Productions is currently putting together a mini tour for Superthrive in Maine. BAM originator Barbra Moran found the band to be electric and exciting" and called them immediately after hearing their CD Live At CBGBs". The tour kicks off in May on Memorial Day weekend, and will bring Superthrive to the club Genos in Portland and numerous colleges and festivals in the area.

The on-line buzz Superthrive has built continues to grow. Punk webzine HUSSIESKUNK put Superthrive on their Raw New Music Highlights" page. The page features bands that have a fresh NEW sound". Radiotakeover, the MP3 site also added Superthrives music to their catalog. Garage Radio and Daredevil On-line Zine both posted the latest information about Superthrives new recording for fans anticipating the release.

On March 21st Superthrive will be trying some of their new material out on their local fans at The Continental (25 3rd Avenue NYC) show time is 12:45AM. They were also invited to Brooklyn to play the famous Hanks Saloon on Saturday April 12th.
