Today Whitstable-based Tinderhouse Communications launched the first in a series of annual online surveys that investigate and measure internet use amongst small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kent and the South East.

LAUNCH OF NEW LOCAL E-BUSINESS SURVEY

Today Whitstable-based Tinderhouse Communications launched the first in a series of annual online surveys that investigate and measure internet use amongst small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kent and the South East.

Director Nick Tatt said Christmas 2002 represented a record year for many national firms doing business via the internet, yet we fear many SMEs in Kent are not yet positioned to take full advantage of the growing use and acceptance of the internet amongst customers".

Nick Tatt noted that the internet activities of some SMEs could be damaging customer perception of their business. Poorly designed websites and badly executed email marketing can do more harm than good. Making the right first impression on a website or email is crucial to securing a customers business".

The Tinderhouse 2003 E-business Survey runs until March 2nd 2003. It is open to all SMEs in Kent and South East England. Tinderhouse is offering an incentive of 500 of consultancy or services to one winning respondent, to be drawn at random, at the end of the Survey.
