The Wizard makes a surprise appearance at the Wizdom Education exhibit at the 2002 Fall Convention of the Illinois Council for Exceptional Children (ICEC) in Schaumburg, IL on October 31st and November 1st.
Many attendees attributed this visit to the fact that it was Halloween, but the Wizard explained his appearance as being unrelated to the season. He came to witness the excitement being generated by Wizdoms continuous introduction of new products and services, such as LiveAid!, which was introduced at this conference.
Traditional to ICEC conferences is an exhibitor sponsored raffle. Wizdom stole the show this year by raffling rides in a fully restored 1946 J3 Piper Cub. Chris Moore, Special Education Teacher from River Forest, IL, was the lucky winner on October 31st. My husband wont believe that I won something so special", said Chris. I am so excited."
Fridays lucky winner of the Piper Cub ride was Rita Nemchausky of Chicago School District 299. Ritas words, But I wanted the Harry Potter CD". We are sure Rita will change her mind when she is strapped into front seat of the J3. The Harry Potter CD lucky winner was Kathy Heinsohn of Naperville 203.
