(OTC BB: IBTGF ) is positioned as an economical alternative in the Fire Retardants Industry with its patented Blazeguard® and Pyrotite products, with applications for the building industry. Current markets include multi-family roof deck applications, the thermal barrier for structural insulated panels, commercial roof deck applications, fire-rated wall assemblies and specialty markets.
About Pyrotite: Pyrotite is an inorganic, cementicious compound that acts as a non-combustible shield between fire and wood. The compound binds water in a molecular bond, which is released during the heat of a fire. The water acts as a cooling vapor, absorbing and cooling the heat of the fire.
About Blazeguard®: Blazeguard® is a composite fire rated panel, composed of a coating of Pyrotite, having a minimum thickness of 0.06 inches adhered to a layer for structural sheathing a minimum of 3/8 inches thick.
