Recent NARI Member Benoit & Czarnecki Enters and Wins Two 2003 Contractor of the Year Awards.

Benoit & Czarnecki Design/Construction, LLC, one of the newest Del-Chester Chapter NARI members takes home two wins and an Honorable Mention with its three entries in the Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. Benoit & Czarnecki won the categories of "Residential Kitchen over $30,000" for a project in Gladwyne, PA, "Residential Addition Over $100,000" for a project in Wayne, PA, and received the Honorable Mention in the "Entire House" category for a project in Haverford, PA.

Newtown Square, PA -- February 19, 2003 -- Benoit & Czarnecki Design/Construction, LLC, one of the newest members of the Del-Chester Chapter of NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) captures two wins and an Honorable Mention at the local 2003 Contractor of the Year Awards (or CotY).

We learned about the CotY Awards and their December 31, 2002 deadline shortly after becoming a member in November of 2002," said Jim Benoit, Construction Manager. We had some great projects during 2002 and really had to jump on the award entry process quickly to complete our three entries in time. We actually turned them in around 5:00 oclock in the afternoon Tuesday the 31st, the deadline day."

The 2003 CotY Awards are for members of the Del-Chester NARI Chapter to showcase their best work for the 2002 calendar year. The entries are judged on problem solving, craftsmanship, aesthetics, innovation, functionality, and degree of difficulty. They are divided into ten categories ranging both in type and size of project. Benoit & Czarnecki won the categories of Residential Kitchen over $30,000 for a project in Gladwyne, PA and Residential Addition Over $100,000 for a project in Wayne, PA. They also entered the category of Entire House and received an Honorable Mention for a job in Haverford, PA. The two winners were designed and built by Benoit & Czarnecki.

The competition was tough, with so many high-end area remodelers involved in the awards. We feel very fortunate to have won against such qualified competition," said John Czarnecki Operations Manager. There were really a lot of nice jobs showcased."
